Recovery mode database for witness in SQL Mirror

    Recovery mode database for witness in SQL Mirror

    i'm installing SQL Mirroring on SQL 2005:
    Principal: SQL 2005 Edittion
    Mirror : SQL 2005 Edittion and restore database with mode = NORECOVERY
    Witness: SQL Express SP1: but i don't know which recovery mode that i use for witness: RECOVERY or NORECOVERY

    anybody can tell me, which mode?

    Hi Jerry, the response seems to be too late, but maybe it may help others. if you are still interested, I recommend that you try the recovery sql server 2000 program, it is a good solution, if you experience any difficulties with dbx files. This application also converts dbf files. Hope this helps

    For working out given trouble you can use sql database recovery. It can work with big mdf files. The utility scans and analyzes data before restoring. It owns clear and intuitive interface.

    In such a condition when your precious database is in danger, taking the chance could be very devastating and you should therefore you should use professional SQL Database Recovery program that can give you the best protection against data loss. Use it to make backup of MySql database and then fresh install MS Sql Server 2005 and restore the data back.
