I've just been reading some of the posts here (mainly the beer related ones) and you got me thinking about the holiday i've got planned with the Wife, bump in her belly, and our dog at the end of the month.

For a long time now I've been going up north to a place called Badachro where we have the use of a lovely croft (Cottage) where we can simply disconnect from all the worries and stresses from our lifes for a while. Bascially we 'pull the plug out'.

Now... A 5 minute walk from said croft is a lovely little pub which sits right at the waters edge of Badachro bay. From the conservatory window, the partaker can witness otters playing, seal catching fish, the occasional whale popping up and damn seagulls stealing the remains of some kid's crisps...

...they can also partake in the delights of Ales such as Houston St.Peter's Well and Houston Killellan along with a rather nice pint of Guinness.

So, thanks guys for reminding me what I have ahead of me very soon. You've put a bit of a plus onto what was turning into a rather challenging week.

Might even pop into my local shoppy on the way home and sample some other favourites (Fyne Ales / William Bros)...
