Red Gate Scream v0.2 - SQL Compare 5.1 snapshot support

Published Wednesday, June 14, 2006 1:45 PM

It's taken me a while but I've finally rebuilt Scream to work with the newer version of the SQL Compare engine. No other changes really apart from the fancy new progress bar (if you have snapshots large enough anyway). I've been working on lots of other things lately, patches for SQL Data Compare and working on migrating our intranet and website to ASP.NET 2.0. I'll probably write a little on my experiences when things calm down a bit.

Have fun peeps.

My original post on Scream and how to use it can be found here...

Just a quick note since 5.2 of SQL Compare has been released. There shouldn't be any problems running against snapshots of 5.2 although as the format hasn't changed. Should there be any issues I'll just re-compile against the new engine.

Maybe I should make this software postcardware ;).
