Doug is an Oracle 9i Certified Professional DBA with 17 years experience in a wide range of environments, and has used Oracle versions 6.0 through to 10g on a number of different operating systems. He has developed and taught Oracle PL/SQL, Performance Tuning and DBA courses for Learning Tree International and Oracle UK in the past, and is an active contributor to the UK Oracle User Group. He has written and presented technical papers at conferences in the U.S.A., UK, Europe and Middle East, which are available at his website, and is a member of the Oak Table Network and an Oracle ACE.

What use is a Development DBA?
